WHO WE ARE
AL-Zahra Foundation is a Philanthropy charity which was established in 2005. By the grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and the joint efforts of like minded individuals, in November, 2007 Al-Zahra Foundation became registered charity body under the law of United Kingdom.
Al-Zahra Foundation was established in Muharram of 1426, February 2006. This is a registered charity community organisation for the lovers of the Holy household in Nottingham. The organisation has been working for the education and social activities of the local community through lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences. Al-Zahra Foundation has also been active in taking part in events in the Midlands area. It has invited many speakers to address its lectures on various occasions, along side having regular weekly events at its community centre.

Friday Prayers are not scheduled in the centre till the COVID-19 restrictions are in place by the government.

We are there
Encourage, promote and nurture our communities to become more philanthropists in order to alleviate human suffering throughout the world.

Establish and/or support Islamic institutes of higher learning that can respond to the needs of our communities.
We eradicate hunger
There are still 3 billion people living in poverty. We are trying to ensure that every person on earth sleeps with a good meal. We won’t stop until we get there.
We build relationships
Promote and encourage innovative intra-faith and inter-faith relationships at local and national levels.
We support humanity
Provide support on issues affecting Islamic Shia Ithna-asheri communities.
We rely on people
Helping other is humanity. We can’t make it without helps from people. We are thankful to them for volunteering and giving donations. We are only able to provide help from it.
Provide a helping hand
We can’t make it alone. We need your help. Your small help can bring a big change.

It’s impossible to help people without people helping others. We always need volunteers who love to help.
